The Paintsville Tigers are now 2-0 after defeating Harlan Friday in a 48-6 beatdown.
The Tigers managed 329 yards rushing on 39 carries against Harlan.
Josh McClurg lead the team with 132 yards on 13 carries, scoring one touchdown. Larry Lamar had eight carries for 73 yards and one TD.
Chris Allen lead the charge with the receivers, finishing with three receptions for 41 yards and one TD. James Allen had one reception for 29 yards and a TD. JW Phelps picked up one reception for 14 yards. Karsten Poe had one reception for three yards.
Quarterback Jake Hyden was perfect on the night with six-of-six passing for 87 yards and two TDs, Hyden also racked up 85 yards on eight attempts and two TDs on the ground.
The Tigers were impressive on the defensive side of the ball Friday night only giving up just 63 total yards of offense to the Green Dragons.
Christian Keeton led the way with eight solo tackles and five assisted tackles. Chris Allen combined for a total of 10 tackles. Brandon Richmond had four solo tackles and three assisted for seven total.
Seth Trador was able to knock through six-of-seven extra point attempts on the night.
Paintsville has combined for 106 points in two games, while holding its opponents to six.
The Tigers have been able to handle things on defense giving up only 65 yards on the ground and 71 yards through the air in those two games.
The Tigers will be on the road this Friday as they are set to take on Frederick Douglass in the Mingua Beef Jerky Bowl, kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
