A gathering of family and friends was on Monday, Nov. 5, from 4-7 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort, for Audra Faye Collins, 82, of Frankfort, widow of George Collins, who died Wednesday, Oct. 31.
She was born March 1, 1936, daughter of the late Samuel and Alka Johnson Auxier. She was co-owner and broker for Parke-Collins Realty. Audra graduated from Paintsville High School. She was a realtor for over 40 years.
Audra had a host of friends and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, loved to shop, and spending time with her grandchildren. Some of the best times of her life were traveling with her husband and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Myers and Georgene Suffridge, both of Louisville; her brother, Randy (Mavis) Auxier; her sister, Jacqueline (Bob) Beckett; her grandchildren, Laura Myers, Rick (Amber) Myers, and Calla and Kathryn Suffridge; her five great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband of 62 years, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Gertrude Selmeyer, Lona Price and Diane Daniels; and her grandchild, Maxwell Suffridge.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 6, 10:30 a.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for William “Bill” T. Crothers, 84, of Paintsville, who died Saturday, Nov. 3 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.

Robert Hamilton Lyons, age 80, of Hagerhill passed away on November 4, 2018 at his home. He was born to late James and Juanita Lyons in Johnson County.
Robert was a member of the Rockhouse Freewill Baptist Church and a retired employee with General Motors in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie Cantrell Lyons of Hagerhill; two daughters. Annette Lyons (Mike) Morrison of Cincinnati and Gail (Randy) Wray of Hagerhill; three brothers, James (Pat) Lyons of Portsmouth, Ohio, Frank Lyons of Staffordsville, Butch (Ann) Conn of River; four grandchildren Robert K. (Vickie) Griffith of Cincinnati, Mandy (Dennis) Bosse of Cincinnati, Stephanie (Tanner) Stambaugh of Richmond and Charles (Bailey) Taylor of Hager Hill; 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by one brother, John Lyons; and two sisters, Nanette Mulvaney and Frances Stambaugh .
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1 p.m.at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Johnson Cemetery at Hagerhill.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 15, 1 p.m. at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel for John A. Ross, 42, of Connersville, Ind., formerly of Johnson County, died Tuesday, Oct. 9 at the Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
Mr. Ross was born Dec. 3, 1975 in Xenia, Ohio, son of James and Debbie Cochran Mollette of Wittensville and his biological father, John G. Ross and stepmother, Debbie Ross of Dayton, Ohio. John loved his Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have truly lost their biggest fan. He also loved University of Kentucky basketball, Star Wars, and music. He cherished his family and friends.
In addition to his parents his is survived by his daughter, whom he loved with all his heart, Montana Cavins of Mount Sterling; fiancée, the love of his life, Jama Baucom of Connersville; two brothers, Shaun Mollette of Wittensville and Kristopher Mollette of West Van Lear; two sisters, Jennifer (Jonathan) Reed of Staffordsville, and Kristian Mollette of Paintsville; maternal grandparents, Carson and Lora Cochran of Oil Springs, his Granny, Janette Kestner of Paintsville; two uncles, Emery Cochran and Brandon Cochran, both of Oil Springs; his favorite aunt, Teresa Conley of Sevierville, Tenn.; cousin, Brandi (Earl) Salyers of Sevierville; nieces, Kaitlynn Browning and Krissiana Pixie Mollette; nephews, Tyler Reed, Cameron Reed, Kemper Mollette, Bentley Mollette; great-niece, Madilynn Faith DeLong; and his lifelong best friend, John Castle. John also leaves behind many cousins, family members and friends.
The service was officiated by Ronnie Spriggs, with burial in the family cemetery at Oil Springs.
