Usama Abbas “Al” Alshalchy, 89, of Port Orange, Fla., died Monday, April 12, 2021.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 807 South Mayo Trail, Paintsville.
Clarence Castle, 75, of Huber Heights, died Sunday, March 28, 2021, at The Hospice of Dayton.
He was the credit manager at Contech Inc., retiring with over 20 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the VFW and an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Mary; his brother, Charles; and his sisters, Judy Wells, Grace Cordial and Juanita Ambo
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Judy; his daughters and sons-in-law, Janella Bodekor (Scott) and Nicole Paxton (Brian); his sister and brother-in-law, Margarette Davis (Eugene); his grandchildren, Jarod, Gracie, Josie, Malia and Addie; and many other beloved relatives and friends.
A private funeral was held at the Marker and Heller Funeral Home, Dayton, Ohio, with Pastor Kevin Cordner officiating. Interment followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery of Dayton, Ohio. Arrangements were under the direction of the Marker and Heller Funeral Home of Dayton, Ohio.

Ella Ruth Wells, 82, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
She was born in Paintsville, May 13, 1938, a daughter of the late Perry Lyon "P.L." Bowling and Christine Keen Bowling.
She was the kind-hearted matriarch of her family and loved them and the Lord with a fierceness that could not be matched. She was an avid reader of the Bible and a devout Christian. She is remembered by her gentle soul, fun-loving spirit and hearty sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol May and Brenda Wells; her son, Larry Wells; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Nevard Lee Wells and Dale Dirvin Wells; her husband, Roland David Wells; and her sisters, Emma Lucille Dixon, Peggy Ellen West, and Diana Marlene Bowling.
She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at the Chandler Funeral Home, 26 W Dwinal St, Mechanic Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chandler Funeral Home of Mechanic Falls, Maine.
