Several people were arrested recently and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

Those arrested, according to the booking log at the jail, included:

Thursday, July 11

Roy Goble, 44, of Debord, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on charges of violation of a Kentucky EPO or DVO and traffic charges.

George Mayle, 46, of Ashland, was arrested by Boyd County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of contempt of court.

Jason Maynard, 26, of Louisa, was arrested by Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of failure to appear.

Bruce Bowen, 36, of Louisa, was arrested by Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies on charges of contempt of court and second-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot).

Robert Combs, 50, of Oil Springs, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on charges of fourth-or-greater offense DUI, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and an unspecified misdemeanor. Combs was charged as a second-degree persistent felony offender.

Kevin Kali, 64, of Fort Gay, West Virginia, was arrested by Louisa Police Department officers on charges of first-degree and first-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and failure to appear.

Tony Frazier, 53, of Ashland, was arrested by Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies on charges of first-offense DUI and traffic charges.

Alexander Jaynes, 43, of Van Lear, was arrested by Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of contempt of court.

Edward Jude, 38, of Inez, was arrested by Martin County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of public intoxication.

Friday, July 12

William Crothers, 56, of Paintsville, was arrested by a Johnson County Constable on three counts of first- or second-offense public alcohol intoxication.

Shawn Risner, 31, of Lavalette, was arrested by Louisa Police Department officers on charges of first-degree and first-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first-degree and first-offense possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of failure to appear.

Amanda Woods, 28, of Allen, was arrested by Magoffin County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of contempt of court.

Santana Hall, 23, of Salyersville, was arrested by Magoffin County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of public intoxication.

James Nichols, 63, of Warfield, was arrested by Martin County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of theft of services.

Kenneth Fitch, 45, of Louisa, was arrested by Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies on charges of third-degree burglary, first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree and first-offense possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Rhodes Dials, 33, of Lovely, was arrested by Martin County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of third-degree criminal trespassing.

Angela Haney, 41, of Frankfort, was arrested by Paintsville Police Department officers on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

Ronald Rice, 27, of Georgetown, was arrested by Paintsville Police Department officers on two counts of first-degree and first-offense trafficking in a controlled substance (greater than or equal to two grams of methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rice was charged as a first-degree persistent felony offender.

Jessica Elkins, 34, of Salyersville, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on a charge of failure to appear.

Jolena Music, 38, of Hagerhill, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on a charge of failure to appear.

Joshua McKenzie, 28, of Staffordsville, was arrested by Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

Saturday, July 13

Cody Preston, 28, of Lexington, was arrested by Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of public intoxication.

Alexandria Cole, 26, of Salyersville, was arrested by Paintsville Police Department officers on traffic charges. Cole was also served with a bench warrant.

Craigory Fuggitt, 26, of Lovely, was arrested by Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies on a charge of failure to appear. Fuggitt was also served with a bench warrant.

Sunday, July 14

Joshua Triplett, 26, of Webbville, was arrested by Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies on charges of falsely reporting an incident, false report of an emergency and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Editor’s note: The above list reflects people who are lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. The charges against them are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
