Last month, the Paintsville Golf Course hosted the Paul B Hall Foundation Scholarship Scramble.

Cash prizes were awarded to the first, second and third place teams and door prizes were distributed.

“The Paul B. Hall Foundation and its organizers would like to thank each of the sponsors and donators for making this year’s scramble possible,” a statement from the foundation said. Those sponsors included Appalachian Wireless, Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Fast Change, Kinner Patton Law, Dr. Bryan Hall, Water Dawgs, Medicine Cabinet Pharmacy, Judge Brett Butcher, Ward Signs, Foothills, State Farm, McDonald’s, Mountain Apothecary, as well as donors Jones Preston Funeral Home and other donors who wish to remain anonymous.

Scholarships were awarded to three students: Kenyon Crum, Zoee Crum and Jonathan Holbrook, all of whom are graduates of Johnson Central High School.
