Rachelle Osborne, liason for Mountain Manor in Paintsville, said this week that the community has come together to support residents of the facility while their doors are closed to the public as a precaution during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

“Meally Church of Christ donated a tablet to our residents to aid in FaceTime,” said Osborne. “Cards have been coming in from the community. Some families have been coming to the windows to see their loved ones.

“We’ve had residents sitting in their doorways and doing hallway bingo,” she continued. “Some pastors have been helping to meet our residents’ spiritual needs by providing online prayer and church services.”
