No contestant left empty-handed from the Paintsville Recreation Center on Saturday after the first ever Country Music Highway pageant, sponsored by Paintsville Main Street.

The pageant featured contestants in several categories ranging in age from four months to 13 years.

Jensen Maverick Daniel was named winner of the Baby Mister category, James Tripp Hill won the Wee Mister category and Bailee Klaire Crace won the Baby Miss category.

In the Wee Miss category, Caroline Hill won the title, with Aubrey Kate Hannah the first alternate.

The Mini Miss category was closely contested, with Lillian Elizabeth Fannin being named winner, Kinslee Grace Farmer first alternate and a tie for second alternate between Lillie Madeline McCoy and McKenzie Jayde Salisbury.

Caroline Cassidy Slone was named Tiny Miss winner, and 13-year-old Zaylee Faith Keeton won both the Junior Miss category and the overall win as Miss Country Music Highway for 2018.

All the winners were invited to participate in both the City of Paintsville’s Christmas parade on December 1 and Ashland’s Winter Wonderland of Lights Festival parade.
