Flooding hit Johnson County after thunderstorms moved into the region on the night of Thursday, March 12. Paintsville/ Johnson County Emergency Director Gary McClure noted that some of the worst flash flooding occurred at Little Lick Fork and near Franks Creek in Johnson County and that flooding in those areas had subsided by midday.
