The Paintsville/Johnson County Garden Club has continued work this summer maintaining apple trees planted last year and cleaning, weeding and replanting garden areas around Preston Park in Paintsville. PJCGC President Lara Pack said two more apple trees were planted this year at the Paintsville Recreation Center. Pictured are a handful of garden club members and volunteers representing three counties, and one of the young apple trees bearing fruit in Paintsville.
