Local first responders gather outside of Paul B Hall Medical Center April 24 for a parade honoring the hospital's staff and their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.

On April 24 first responders in Johnson County gathered outside of Paul B Hall Medical Center in Paintsville for a parade honoring the hospital’s staff and their ongoing efforts throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Ashley Webb, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Paul B Hall Medical Center, Paintsville Mayor Bill Mike Runyon worked with the hospital to coordinate efforts between the Paintsville Police Department, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Paintsville EMS, Paintsville Fire Department and other volunteer fire departments across the county to organize the event, which began around 3 p.m. at Giovanni’s in Paintsville and traveled by Paul B. Hall Wound Healing Center on Second Street before heading up James S. Trimble Boulevard and circling through the hospital’s parking lot.
