The City of Paintsville and Paintsville Tourism have big events for the whole family planned Saturday, April 6.
At 12:30 p.m., the Mountain Homeplace farm will host its annual Easter egg hunt, but the event has grown into much more. In addition to the 3,000 eggs for kids to discover, the day’s festivities will also include photos with the Easter Bunny, basket giveaways, a raffle benefiting Shop with a Cop, $3 train rides and a $3 showing of “Peter Rabbit.”
That evening, however, is the first Market 606 of the year in downtown Paintsville. As in years past, the event, which kicks off at 5 p.m., will see Main Street lined with vendors, food and live music.
Musicians at Saturday’s market will include EmmaClaire Slone, John Tucker, Andrew Chapman, Russ Preston and Classic Rewind.
