The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising motorists of a daytime closure along Ky. 2040 in Johnson County. The worksite begins at mile-point 2.2 (0.1 miles North of Laney Drive) and runs through mile-point 2.9 (0.025 miles South of Banger Branch Road).
Crews will repair embankment sites beginning Tuesday, Mar. 21, through Friday, Mar. 24. The road will be closed at the worksite from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Motorists will be able to access either side of the closure but not be able to cross during working hours.
Motorists will need to use an alternate route during this time and pay close attention to signage in the area.
Hinkle Environmental Services has been contracted to perform the work. Schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
