The East Kentucky Expo Center recently announced an all-new concert experience will be playing for one performance on Thursday, December 13. Cirque Musica Holiday presents Wonderland. Tickets went on sale Friday and can be purchased at Appalachian Wireless Box Office.

“Cirque Musica blends the grace and thrills of the world’s greatest cirque performers with stunning symphonic music,” said Stephen Cook, Holiday creator and producer. “Audiences are treated to a full sensory experience as they journey into a world of “Wonderland” with amazing acrobats, aerialists, hilarious hijinks and holiday cheer. The show blends the spellbinding grace and daredevil athleticism of today’s greatest circus performers with the sensory majesty of the greatest holiday music of all time.”

According to Cook, the show started out of Symphony Space, a performing arts center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and has developed into an annual tradition taking the best parts of music, dance and acrobatics and combining them into new performances each year.

“This is a very family-friendly show, very kid-friendly, but also appeals to everyone else as well, “ said Cook. “It appeals to a wide audience and has proven to be very popular, so I would tell people to buy their tickets early.”

Tickets for Cirque Musica Holiday presents Wonderland went on sale Friday at the East Kentucky Expo Center for $25 for kids and $32.50 for adults. Tickets will be available at the Appalachian Wireless Box Office, at Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at, 1(800) 745-3000.
