Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center was recognized by Premier Inc. as a recipient of the Premier Hospital Improvement Innovation Network “Excellence in Patient Safety Across the Board” award.
Premier is one of 16 improvement networks for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ national “Partnership for Patients” initiative. The Premier HIIN is working with 496 hospitals in 40 states, using a safety across the board approach to improve the quality and safety of care, reduce preventable harm, enhance patient and family engagement and bolster the culture of safety.
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center is one of 27 hospitals to receive the Premier HIIN “Excellence in Patient Safety Across the Board” award and to be recognized at the Premier HIIN June 19 national meeting in Nashville. To be eligible for the award, hospitals had to demonstrate both exceptional performance and participation in the Premier HIIN program.
