Funeral services will be held July 29 at 11 a.m. at the Rockhouse Free Will Baptist Church for Irvin Bryan Franklin, 73, of Staffordsville, who passed away July 24 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
He was born November 26, 1936, in Paintsville, son of the late Eddie and Mildred Franklin Arms.
He was a member of the Rockhouse Free Will Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Paintsville Masonic Lodge 381 F&M and an Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Joyce Franklin; and one sister, Ellen Jean Williams.
He is survived by one son, Michael Thomas Franklin, of Collinsville, Okla.; one step-son, Billy Joe Blair, of Lexington; one daughter, Lisa Ellen Castle, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Perry Martin Franklin, of Columbus, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation by contacting the Phelps and Son Funeral Home at 789-8989.

Ruth Fraley Stambaugh
1922-2010
Funeral services will be held July 29 at 2 p.m. at the Phelps and Son Funeral Home Chapel for Ruth Fraley Stambaugh, 88, of Paintsville, who passed away on July 24 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
She was born January 20, 1922, in Johnson County, daughter of the late Palmer Phelps and Thelma Picklesimer.
She was a licensed practical nurse.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Stambaugh; and one son, Paul Ray Fraley.
She is survived by one son, Delmar Fraley, of Ashland; one daughter, Sandra Music, of Staffordsville; two sisters, Glenna Music, of Van Lear, and Bertha Fox, of Fla.; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She will be buried in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville .

Savannah Suzette Click Tackett

Funeral services were held July 21 at 11 a.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Savannah Suzette Click Tackett, 20, of Whitehouse, who passed away on July 19 at Boons Camp.
She was born July 26, 1989, in Johnson County, daughter of Lonnie Click and the late Terri Lynn Greene Click.
She was a secretary for Kinzer Drilling.
In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leonard and Evelyn Click.
In addition to her father, she is also survived by her husband, Andy Tackett; three brothers, James Spradlin, of Newport, Tenn., Lonnie Dewayne Click, of Leander, and Brandon Click, of Paintsville; one sister, Lanayah Click, of Leander; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were conducted by Joe Scott and Dennis Conley with burial in the Resthaven Memorial Cemetery, Newport, Tenn.

Willie Ray Crabtree
1931-2010
Funeral services were held July 24 at 11 a.m. the Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Willie Ray Crabtree, 78, of River, who passed away on July 22 at the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
He was born November 25, 1931, in Lawrence County, son of the late Earl and Mary Dowdy Crabtree.
He was a retired factory worker and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Timothy Crabtree, of River, and Willie Thomas Crabtree, of Nippa; one daughter, Tracy Fitzpatrick, of River; one sister, Petey Wells, of Rio Grande, Ohio; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Southie Fannin Jr., with burial to follow in the Crabtree Family Cemetery, River.

Chester Kitts

Funeral services were held July 27 at 2 p.m. at the Oakgrove Church for Chester Kitts, 83, of Fort Gay, W. Va., who passed away on July 24 at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, W. Va.
He was born December 22, 1926, in Fort Gay, W. Va., son of the late Harvey and Cuzzy Robertson Kitts.
He was a laborer for Pic Pac.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Stillina E. Lawrence Kitts; and one son, Ricky Allen Kitts.
He is survived by one daughter, Sherrie Lynn Kitts, of Fort Gay, W. Va.; two sons, Chester Wayne Kitts, of Fort Gay, W. Va., and Toney Curtis Kitts, of Huntington, W. Va.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Frank Copley and Mack Ray Cyrus with burial in the Kitts Cemetery, Fort Gay, W. Va.
